The built environment is one of the major sources of emissions, and much of the impact of a building is fixed in the pre-design phase: in the foundations, the structure, the envelope and the materials that are specified. As the project progresses, the margin for decision shrinks and the cost of switching skyrockets.

We are engineers. We measure the impacts of the building throughout its life cycle and that of the materials that compose it, and we accompany it in decarbonization proposals.

This rigour translates into value: buildings that maintain it over time, projects that add up to a tender and materials that differentiate themselves in their market.

Building LCA

We calculate the carbon footprint of the entire building throughout the entire life cycle (foundations, structure, envelope, installations and finishes), from the manufacture of the materials to the end of life. We do this in two modalities: comparative studies in the design phase, to see which solution of structure, façade or finishes has the least impact when there is still a choice, and detailed calculation on the closed project. The result serves to optimize the building and to justify certifications such as LEED, BREEAM or VERDE.

LCA and EPD of Building Materials

We calculate the life cycle of the product and draw up the Environmental Product Declaration (EPD). It is the verified data that architects, specifiers and construction companies need for their calculations, and the argument that differentiates the product from a competition that does not yet have it. These same EPDs will also be the basis of the future Digital Product Passport.

We deliver a traceable calculation that complies with standards (EN 15978), ready to justify certifications such as LEED, BREEAM or VERDE and to defend itself in any tender.
